KC Business Journal: LMG Construction Moves to “Construction Row”

The Kansas City Business Journal featured LMG Construction in an article about LMG’s move to a new headquarters. To accommodate our rapid growth, the new space is a 12,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility.

Here is an excerpt from the Kansas City Business Journal article:

The firm will be moving from 1905 Cherry St. in the East Crossroads to 3011 Roanoke Road, which is part of an area known as “Construction Row” due to the number of construction firms established there. LMG has been working on its new facilities with several of its new construction neighbors, including Hufft Projects, R.F. Fisher Electric Co. and U.S. Engineering Co.

LMG is led by President Lisa Garney, daughter of Charles Garney, the master developer of the 600-acre Briarcliff community and founder of Garney Construction, a national company specializing in water and wastewater projects.

Founded by Lisa Garney 10 years ago, LMG is a full-service commercial plumbing subcontractor that also performs as a general contractor in the military/federal market. It ranks No. 24 on the Kansas City Business Journal’s recent list of Top Women-Owned Businesses with $12.7 million in 2016 revenue.
