Tracks / Via Apartments

Rising just steps from Union Station, Via Apartments (originally branded Tracks) reclaims a long-underused surface lot in the historic Freight House District. Designed by Helix Architecture, the building draws on industrial rail motifs — a mix of steel, brick, and glass — while offering ~200 units and a 261-space parking structure. Positioned along the KC Streetcar line, the project was envisioned as a bridge between historic warehouse blocks and the modern Crossroads Arts District, helping restore vibrancy to a part of the city shaped by trains and trade.
